Section 9(1) in The Manipur (Hill Areas) District Councils Act, 1971
(1)The persons entitled to vote at elections of members of a District Council shall be the persons entitled, by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution and theRepresentation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), to be registered as voters at elections to the House of the People.
