9. University open to all classes, castes, creed and gender.
- The University shall be open to all persons irrespective of class, creed or gender:Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for admission to students of the State of Uttaranchal :Provided further that nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University or a constituent college or Regional Centres or Study Centres or Zed Career Academy Centres to admit in any course of study a larger number of students than may be determined by the Statutes.
