- While hiring contractor, designer and service provider, the owner and the agent of the mine shall ensure that the contractors and the service providers as the case may be, are qualified to carry out the requirements under the Act, or the rules, regulations, bye laws or orders made thereunder, and that such contractor, designer and service provider comply with the requirements or duties assigned to them at the mine.
