Section 268(1) in Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994
(1)For the purpose of securing the efficient scavenging and cleansing of all streets and premises, the Commissioner, shall provide -(a)for the daily surface cleansing of all streets and the removal of the sweepings therefrom; and(b)for the removal of the contents of all receptacles and depots and of the accumulations at all places provided for appointment by him under the provisions of this Act for the temporary deposit of rubbish, filth and other polluted and obnoxious matter.
