                                           ORDER

1. This order is being passed in continuation with our previous orders dated 26.04.2023, 25.07.2023, 12.02.2024 and 16.08.2024.

2. In compliance with our previous order dated 16.08.2024, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has filed an affidavit dated 27.02.2025, wherein in paragraph No.10, timeline for action plans (point-wise) has been given in tabular form, which is quoted hereunder:

2. In Navi Mumbai Municipal corporation Area, total road length is 595 Km, total length of road constructed is 595 Km. The corporation has repaired/constructed for last one year is 108 Km.

3. Presently in Navi Mumbai city area 58 Page 1 of 4 nos. of traffic signals/diversion provided for smooth movement of traffic to avoid air pollution - 58 Locations are installed with Traffic Signals in Navi Mumbai City. New signals were installed as and when required.

4. Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation carried out daily road cleaning (including small measures and inside lane) - Manual Sweeping of 482.2 km and Mechanical Seeping of 113.8 Km is done daily.

5. Electric buses : The population of Navi Mumbai was 11,20,547 in 2011 as per the Census of India.

Accordingly, as per Guidelines 672 buses are required to be fleeing in the city. Currently NMMT has total 531 buses comprising of 251 diesel, 85 CNG and 195 Electric Buses.

planned to be procured from 15th Finance Commission Grants. Till date, 40 E buses are procured and 25 E buses are awaited to be delivered till December 2024 from 15th Finance Commission Grants.

6. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) has 154 CNG buses in its fleet.

7. In the year 2023-24, about 219 nos. of vehicles scrapped.

8. In the year 2023-24, about 39296 nos. of new vehicles registered.

9. In the year 2023-24, about 4461 (CNG) & 2096 (E vehicle) registered.

10. Tehre are 129 PUC station for last 1 year 1890 vehicles imposed fine.

To provide MIDC/NMMC 30 Min.3 years The Navi Mumbai proper sewerage 31.12.2027 Municipal Corporation system for slum (NMMC) area there are 7 pockets & nos. of STPs at different connects the locations having total Page 2 of 4 sewage to STPs capacity 454 MLD. Total & use of treated sewage generation from sewage for NMMC area is 230 MLD gardening & and same is treated in industrial 07 STPs. About67.62 purpose & MLD treated water is Reuse of being used for various Treated Sewage purposes like gardening etc. washing of roads, divider etc. Further NMMC has proposed recycling of water in TTC MIDC area of 40 MLD. The sewage generated from the MIDC slum pocket is approximately 4 to 5 MLD and the corporation & MIDC has planned to provide the same. The Board has issued direction to MIDC and Municipal Corporation for submission of timebound program dated 18.11.2024. The Corporation has allotted the work to IIT Bombay for study and provide solutions for such as interception and diversion of sewage in Slum pockets of MIDC and after the study they are proposed for grey water collection and treatment and requested MIDC for suitable land for same.

Health Impact DISH -- 31.12.2026 The Navi Mumbai Assessment District Municipal Corporation Study Health has submitted the health Officer data related to MPCB respiratory illnesses.

From the data, it reveals that there is decrease in number of patients in 2024 compared to 2023 & the recovery percentage is higher than previous year.

MPC Board has decided to allot Health Impact Assessment Study to the agency.

3. We are of the view that the timeline, which has been given above in tabular form, is reasonable and we accept the same. Considering the above timeline and since it is a continuous monitoring matter, we deem it Page 3 of 4 appropriate to dispose of this Original Application and it is accordingly disposed of.
