Section 8 in The Punjab Agricultural University Act, 1961
8. Authorities and offices of the University.
- The following shall be the authorities and officers of the University :-Authorities of the University(i)Board of Management;(ii)Academic Council;(iii)Board of Studies; and(iv)Such other authorities as may be declared by the Statutes to be Authorities of the University.Officers of the University(i)Chancellor;(ii)Vice-Chancellor;(iii)Deans of the Colleges;(iv)Director of Research;(v)Director of Agricultural Extension Education;(vi)Omitted by Punjab Act 12 of 1965.(vii)Director of Student Welfare;(viii)Registrar;(ix)Comptroller;(x)Estate Officer;(xi)Librarian; and(xii)such other persons in the service of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be officers of the University.
