1. Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 0198/2017 registered under Sections 420/467/468/471/511/120B IPC at P.S. Jyoti Nagar and all proceedings arising therefrom in terms of the Order dated 11.12.2017 passed by JSCC on the mutual agreement between the parties.
2. It is submitted that a decree has already been passed that the property shall be with the Respondent No. 2 and that the Petitioner shall not claim any right, title and interest in his property.
3. The parties are present in person in the Court and have been identified by their respective Counsel.
4. The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Order dated 11.12.2017 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be This is a digitally signed order.

The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and they submit that the said Order has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms as has been recorded in the Order dated 11.12.2017.
6. In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
7. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.
8. Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the nature of the dispute, which is essentially a property dispute and the fact that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 0198/2017 registered under Sections 420/467/468/471/511/120B IPC at P.S. Jyoti Nagar and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
9. The Petition alongwith pending Applications, stands disposed of.
