Section 26 in THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR ALLIED AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS ACT, 2021
26. Meetings of State Council.—
(1)The State Council shall meet at such times and places, and shall observe such rules of procedure in regard to the transaction of business at its meetings (including quorum of such meetings) in the manner as may be prescribed by the State Government.(2)The Chairperson of the State Council, if for any reason, he is unable to attend a meeting of the State Council, any other member chosen by the members present from amongst themselves at the meeting shall preside over the meeting.(3)All questions which come up before any meeting of the State Council shall be decided by a majority of the members present and voting, and in the event of an equality of votes, the Chairperson of the State Council or in his absence, the member of the State Council presiding, shall have a second or casting vote.
