Section 237 in The City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002
237. Liability of warrantors.
- When any person has been discharged or acquitted of an offence on the grounds mentioned in clause (c) of section 236 and the warranty proves to be incorrect or misleading, the warrantor shall be liable to be prosecuted for such offence and the provisions of section 236 shall apply in a like manner as if he were himself the seller or storer, as the case may be.
