- This Act may be called the PEPSU Court of Wards Act, 2008.(2)[ It extends to the territories of the State of Punjab which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, formed part of the State of Patiala and East Punjab States Union.] [Sub-section (2) substituted by the Punjab Adaptation of Laws (State and Concurrent Subjects) Order, 1968.].(3)It shall come into force from the date of its publication in official Gazette.
