Section 1 in The Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953.(2)[ It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat] [These words were substituted for the words 'the Bombay Labour Welfare Board', by the Bombay labour Welfare Board (Reconstitution) Order, 1960.],(3)It shall come into force in such area and on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
