(2)The packets as given in sub-rule (1) and the marked copies of the electoral roll shall be preserved for a year and shall then, unless otherwise directed by the authority competent to decide election disputes, cause them to be destroyed. However, the original copies of declaration of results shall be kept for six years in stitched volumes for all elections in Farmers' Organisation.
