Section 17 in The West Bengal University of Technology Act, 2000
17. Principal academic body of the University.
- The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall have, subject to the provisions of this Act and the regulations, the control of, and shall be responsible for, the maintenance of standards of learning, education, instruction, evaluation and examinations within the University.
