(2)The Vice-Chancellor-shall be appointed by the Chancellor from among the panel of names recommended by the Search Committee consisting of the following members, namely:-(i)One member nominated by the Chancellor;(ii)One member nominated by the Government;(iii)Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research or his nominee;(iv)President, Veterinary Council of India.The Chancellor shall appoint one of the members of the Committee to be the Chairman.
