Section 34 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Prevention of Begging Act, 1972
34. Appeals.—
For the purpose of appeal and revision under the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, an order of detention under this Act, including an order of detention under section 5, shall be deemed to be a sentence of imprisonment for the same period.
