Section 34(3)(a) in The U.P. Harcourt Butler Technical University Act, 2016

(a)In each School/Departments/Centres/Units of teaching in the University, there shall be a Dean/Head/Officer In-charge, as applicable and others condition. The appointment of such Dean (Head), officer In-charge shall be such as may be prescribed.
