(2)Finance Committee shall have the following functions, namely:-(i)To examine the annual accounts and budget estimates of the University and to advice the Board thereon;(ii)To review the financial position of the University from time to time;(iii)To make recommendations to the Board on all matters relating to the finances of the University;(iv)To make recommendation to the Board on observing utmost economy, bringing out austerity measures and suggesting curbs on wasteful expenditure.(v)To make suitable recommendations to the Board for cost recovery mechanism for both research and teaching to further improve the financial strength of the University.Chapter-VII Affiliation of Colleges and Recognition of Institutions
