Section 2(j) in The Jammu and Kashmir Forest Act, 1987 (1930 A.D.)
(j)"timber" includes [trees] [Substituted 'trees and bamboos' by Governor Act No. 11 of 2018, dated 13.9.2018.] when they have fallen or have been felled, and all wood whether cut up or fashioned or hallowed out for any purpose or not;
