Section 10(1) in Regulations of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University
(1)Ordinarily a person on his first appointment to a post in the University shall be fixed at the minimum of the time scale applicable to that post or at a stage in the scale as specified in the Regulations. Higher start in the time scale may be granted by the appointing authority provided the Selection Committee recommends a higher start in deserving cases.
