Section 1(3)(b) in Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act, 1947

(b)The [State] [Substituted for 'Province' by the Adaptation Order of 1950] Government may, by notification, direct that all or any of the provisions of this Act shall come in to force in any other area on such date as may be specified in such notification.
