Section 6(2)(ii) in Telangana Irrigation (Construction and Maintenance of Water Courses) Act, 1965

(ii)the Revenue Divisional Officer may, after the commencement of the Andhra Pradesh Irrigation (Construction and Maintenance of Watercourses) Amendment Act, 1966, acquire any land needed for the construction of any water course under the Nagarjunasagar Project under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 as modified by the Nagarjunasagar Project (Acquisition of Land) Act, 1956 and any proceeding started or action taken in respect thereof shall be deemed to be proceeding started or action taken in pursuance of the aforesaid sub-section (1) of section 6.
