Section 2(1)(xxxii) in Martin Luther Christian University Act, 2005

(xxxii)"Teacher" means a Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor/Lecturer of such other person as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting research in the University or in a constituent college of institution and includes the Principal of a constituent college or institution, in conformity with the norms prescribed by the UGC;
