Section 8 in GUJARAT CARRIAGE OF GOODS TAXATION ACT, 1962
8. Payment of tax :-
The tax payable in respect of any month in accordance with the returns submitted under section 6 and the revised returns, If any, submitted under section 7 shall be paid Into a Govern- ment treasury 1 [or In such other manner as may be prescribed by the operator and the receipt, If any] evidencing such paymentforwarded by him to the Taxation Officer, on or before such date or dates of the month Immediately succeeding as may be prescribed and applicable to him.
