108. General provisions about construction and maintenance of machinery.
- The owner, agent and manager of a mine shall ensure that all parts and working gear whether fixed or moveable including the anchoring and apparatus used as or forming part of the equipment of a mine and all foundations in or to which any such appliance is anchored or fixed are of good construction, suitable material, adequate strength and free from visible defect and shall be properly maintained.
