Section 4(2) in The Bombay Diseases of Animals Act, 1948
(2)The [State] [This words was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government [or the Commissioner in his division] [These Words were inserted by Bombay 8 of 1958, Schedule.] may, by a similar notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a person to be an Inspector for all or any of the purposes of this Act and specify the area within which he shall exercise the powers and perform the duties of an Inspector under this Act.
