Section 34(3) in The Maharashtra Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2002
(3)The receipt of the letter by the juvenile/child of the Institution shall not be restricted and they shall have freedom to right as many letters as they like at all reasonable times; and the institutions shall ensure that where parents, guardians or relatives are known, at least one letter is written by the juvenile every month for which the postage shall be provided.
