Section 57(1) in Gujarat Organic Agricultural University Act, 2017
(1)No member of the teaching, other academic and non-teaching staff shall be dismissed or removed or reduced in rank except after an inquiry in which he has been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of these charges and unless the penalty to be inflicted on him is approved by the Vice-Chancellor or any other officer of the University authorised by the Vice-Chancellor in this behalf.
