Section 21(3) in Himachal Pradesh University Act, 1970
(3)No person shall be or continue to be a member of the Executive Council in more than one capacity, and whenever a person becomes a member of the Executive Council in more than one capacity, he shall, within two weeks thereof, choose the capacity in which he desired to be a member of the Executive Council and shall vacate the other seat. Where he does not so choose, the seat held by him earlier in point of time shall be deemed to have been vacated with effect from the date of expiry of the aforesaid period of two weeks.
