Section 30(i) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960
(i)The number, qualifications, grades, pay and conditions of service of teachers, officers and other servants of the University including the creation of new posts, after considering the recommendations of the Academic Council and the Syndicate, in the case of posts of teachers, and the recommendation of the Syndicate, in the case of posts of officers and other servants of the University ;
