- In cases where there is reason to believe that there will be delay before the necessary enquiries preliminary to the settlement of the amount of the pension can be completed, and the pension finally sanctioned, the Superintendent shall obtain from the would be pensioner a declaration in the form prescribed in article 925(a), Civil Service Regulations, for the grant of an anticipatory pension and submit it to the Inspector-General (or in the case of Sub-Inspectors to the Accountant-General direct) without delay. This shall be accompanied by certain documents which are mentioned in Appendix LI, item (xxviii).
