39. Slenderness ratio - [Section 4(2)(1) and (h)].
- Slenderness ratio must not exceed 12 and reduction in the permissible pressure figure given for slenderness ratio not exceeding six shall be carried on according to the table given below :| Slenderness ratio | Reduction in maximum permissible pressure to slendernessratio exceeding six per cent |
