Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with NDPS Case No.122 of 2023, arising out of Kanti P.S. Case No.442 of 2023 lodged under Sections 489A, 489B, 489C, 489D, 489E and 412 of the IPC read with Sections25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act read with sections 8, 20B, 11C, 22 and 34 of the NDPS Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 31.07.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.37650 of 2024 with liberty to renew his prayer for bail after 6 months.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2023 and report has Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19385 of 2025(4) dt.25-07-2025 2/2 been called for. From the progress report, it transpires that charge has been framed on 18.10.2023 and out of 9 charge-sheet witnesses, 7 witnesses have already been examined and only 2 witnesses have to be examined and trial court seeks 3 months to conclude the trial, if party will cooperate.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that allegation of doing the business of fake notes is there, which directly hits the economy of the country. In addition to that, the recovery of 1 kg charas with Arms has also subject matter of the present case, though the said charas has not been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner.

6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
