Section 1 in Karnataka Agricultural Income-Tax Act, 1957
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.] Agricultural Income-tax Act, 1957.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Karnataka] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.].(3)This section shall come into force at once, and the remaining sections of this Act shall come into force on such .[date] [Act came into force on 1.10.1957 by notification. Text of the notification is at the end of the Act] as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
