Section 3(2) in The U.P. Habitual Offenders' Restriction Rules, 1957
(2)One copy of the notice shall be handed over to the person concerned and on the other copy shall be obtained, in acknowledgment of receipt of the notice the signature or thumb-mark of such person, which shall be attested by two witnesses of the locality.
