Section 31(2) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(2)The Director of Research shall act as the member-secretary of the research council and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the faithful observance of the Statutes and the Regulations relating to the research council.
