Section 73(c) in The Petroleum And Natural Gas (Safety In Offshore Operations) Rules, 2008
(c)the scheme shall-(i)specify nature and frequency of the examination; and(ii)provide for an examination to be carried out, before the first use of the said equipment on the installation and also after any modification or repairs.
