Section 1(3)(i) in The Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Hoardings Act, 1985

(i)be deemed to have come into force in the City of [Chennai] [Substituted for 'Madras' by the City of Madras (Alteration of Name) Act, 1996 (Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1996).] on the 10th July 1985; and
