Section 7(10) in Himachal Pradesh Specified Essential Commodities (Regulation of Distribution) Order, 2019
(10)A fair price shop shall maintain a ration card registration register as per Form- 'E'. He shall maintain the registration of the ration cards on his register. He shall obtain the complete postal address, mobile phone, if available or fixed land line number of ration card holder or his family members and shall also obtain his/her signature or thumb impression or signature or thumb impression of family members' in the space provided for this purpose. He may also obtain Aadhaar numbers and bank account numbers of the ration card holder and his family members. He shall put the serial number of registration on the ration card.
