UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
IA No. 18902/2024
1 In his order dated 25 January 2024, the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, has indicated that the cross-examination of the witnesses for the respondents could not be concluded and that, by consent of the parties, the following time schedule has been prescribed:
“(a) 29th January 2024: Continuation of cross examination of Respondents’ witnesses. The same shall be concluded on the said date.
(b) 30th & 31st January 2024: Final hearings shall commence from 30th January 2024 and concluded on 31st January 2024. The matter would be closed for final orders.”
2 The above time schedule indicates that the proceedings would be closed for final orders on 31 January 2024.
3 Since only the final orders would thereafter remain to be pronounced, we extend time for concluding the proceedings and for passing final orders until 15 February 2024.
4 The IA is disposed of.
