Information sought:
The Appellant sought the rule under which his First Appeal to Appellate Committee was rejected as intimated to him vide IHQ Letter no. B/40502/857/14/AG-PS-4(IMP-II) dated 15.04.2015; copy of the rejection order of the Appellate Committee, what all records were sought from his Record Office for the matter and what all records were put before the Committee, copy of the written opinion of the member committee Chairman on the decision of rejection.

The CPIO has not provided the desired information.1

Appellant: Represented by Appellant's son (Surendra Singh) through VC.
Respondent: Maj R.N. Sharma, CPIO (RTI Cell), Dipankar Sardar, Dy. Director, PS-4(Imp-II) and Som Dutta, Dy. Director, PS-4 (2nd Appeal), IHQ of MoD (Army) present in person.
Representative of the Appellant stated that the Appellant has passed away in July, 2016.
Decision In view of the demise of the Appellant, proceedings in the case are abated.
