.-(1) Explosives before use shall be visually examined for any visible defects and any defective explosive shall not be used.(2)Any explosive showing signs of deterioration of any kind should be reported immediately to the licensing authority and such explosive set-aside for examination by such authority.(3)Gun powder, which is found to be caked owing to the moisture, shall not be used.(4)Frozen nitro-glycerine explosives shall not be used until thawed under the supervision of experienced persons. Where freezing is likely to occur only low freezing explosives shall be used.
