- Upon the receipt of any such report, the Magistrate shall, with all convenient despatch, take such measures as may be necessary for the arrest and trial of the offender and the disposal of the property according to law :[Provided that before passing any order for disposal of property, the Magistrate shall satisfy himself that no intimation under sub-section (4) of Section 52 has been received by his Court or by any other Court having jurisdiction to try the offence on account of which the seizure of property has been made.] [Inserted by Section 5 of M.P.
