421. Procedure for meeting the cost of supplies requisitioned.
- To enable the civil officials to purchase supplies, the military authorities, when submitting their indents for supplies will arrange to pay in advance to the responsible civil authorities a sum to cover the cost of the supplies requisitioned. This advance will be obtained from the Controller of Military Accounts concerned. If time does not permit of an advance being obtained from the Controller of Military Accounts, it should be obtained from the civil treasury on the authority of a station orders as provided for in Paragraph 16(viii) of Pay and Allowance Regulations, Part II.
