54. Current indexes and entries.
- In every office in which any of the books hereinbefore mentioned are kept, there shall be prepared current indexes of the contents of such books; and every entry in such indexes shall be made, so far as practicable, immediately after the registering officer has [filed a true copy] [Substituted by Act No. XIII of 2011, dated 25th April, 2011.] of, the document to which it relates.
