Section 386(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The station officer shall maintain a list of approvers residing in his jurisdiction together with their history sheets, and keep a close watch on them. Enquiries regarding their conduct and mode of life shall be made at least once a quarter, and results noted in the history sheet. At the close of the year the station officer will submit to the Superintendent a summary of the above notes regarding each approver.
