Section 33 in The Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964
33. Right to erect farmhouse.
- A tenant shall be entitled to erect a farmhouse on the land held by him as a tenant with the consent of the landlord and without detriment to the area of cultivation:Provided that where the landlord refuses to give consent within a period of sixty days from the date of request or where the landlord unreasonably refuses to give such consent, the tenant shall be entitled to erect the farmhouse with the consent of the Mamlatdar to be given after hearing the parties.
