Information sought:
The Complainant filed an RTI application dated 18.08.2023 (online) seeking the following information:
"Please furnish the following Documents pertaining to me I am TUMBESWAR BEHARA ACT APPRENTICE No A091626865 1 Please furnish the certified copy subject wise marks secured by me in the ACT APPRENTICE examination conducted during May 2018 Theory at Page 1 of 3 Sri Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Science Karimnagar vide No A091626865 and Practical Examination at Government ITI College Peddapally vide HT No A091626865 and December 2018 Theory Examination at Sri Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Science Karimnagar vide No TA091626865 and also furnish the copy of certificate issued to me on Hall Ticket No A091626865 I am ready to pay any amount if the paid is not sufficient to furnish the documents sought my address is TUMBESWAR BEHARA Care of RAMCHANDER RAO H No 8 6 59 ROAD No 3 BHAVANI COLONY BACKSIDE OF SRI VIDYARANYA VIDYAPEETH BANDLAGUDAJAGIR HYDERBAD 500086 MOB 99084997960 MAIL RAMCHANDERRAO1960 at GMAIL dot COM"
The CPIO transferred the RTI application to the other CPIO i.e. Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship on 20.09.2023 under intimation to the Complainant.
Feeling aggrieved and dissatisfied, complainant directly approached the Commission with the instant Complaint.
Relevant Facts emerged during Hearing:
The following were present:-
Complainant: Absent.
Respondent: Shri Vidit Singh, Deputy Director/CPIO along with Shri Hitesh Kumar, Deputy Director present in person.
Written submissions of both the parties are taken on record.
Shri Vidit Singh, Deputy Director/CPIO stated that reply along with copy of complainant's marksheet and certificate has already been provided to him vide letter dated 27.10.2023.
The Commission is in receipt of a letter dated 22.01.2025 from the Complainant vide which he wished to withdraw the instant Complaint by stating as under:
I submit that on 27.09.2023 I have filed Appeal/Complaint with prayer to impose appropriate penalty on the CPIO, DGT, Ministry for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship New Delhi for transferring the RTI Application two times Page 2 of 3 from one officer to other only to delaying/denying the Reply and also not replying within time prescribed under RTI Act.
Finally, the CPIO has furnished all the information sought under RTIA. I wanted to submit letter for permission to withdraw the Complaint filed.
Now, I may kindly be permitted to withdraw the Complaint listed for hearing on 23.01.2025 vide No. CIC/DGTRG/C/2023/646643- dt.08.01.2025, since very purpose of Complaint is fulfilled.
Thanking you in anticipation."
Decision The Commission after adverting to the facts and circumstances of the case and since the complainant has received the requested information during pendency of instant Complaint and requested in writing to withdraw his complaint. His request is allowed. The Commission finds no scope for intervention in the matter.
The Complaint is dismissed accordingly.
