Section 13(8) in Punjab Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(8)The Board, where it releases a juvenile in conflict with law on probation and places him under the care of the parent or a guardian or a fit person or where the juvenile is released on probation and placed under the care of fit institution, may order that the juvenile be placed under the supervision of a probation officer. The period of supervision shall be a maximum of three years.
