Section 540(1) in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955
(1)No person shall without the written permission of the Commissioner bring into the City any cattle, sheep, goats or swine intended for human food, or the flesh of any such animal which has been slaughtered at any slaughterhouse or place not maintained or licensed under this Act.
