Section 42(1) in Sikkim Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1983
(1)Every employee who undergoes sterilization operation shall be entitled to special casual leave with wages for a period not exceeding(a)six days in the case of a male employee; or(b)fourteen days in the case of a female employee, with effect from the day on which he or she undergoes such operation.
